Brittain's Festival Sunglass Chic
Dec 04, 2015
Hello again Brittain's people.
It's festival time of year again, with Glastonbury starting this week. If you're one of the lucky few to have tickets we've got some top tips for keeping your eyes healthy, whilst also looking bang on trend this festival season.
Spending long periods of time outdoors can prove problematic for your eye health. Most people are probably aware that ultraviolet light poses a real danger to your skin but not so aware of the danger to your eyesight. Damage to your eyes cannot be reversed - so it's really important to make sure you are adequately protected now, to prevent problems like cataracts and macular degeneration when you are older.
At Brittain's we have all the most popular brands of sunglasses, along with some that you've probably never heard of - because they are exclusive to us. We are the only supplier of the Orgreen and Mykita sun collection for quite some distance. Festival regulars Miley Cyrus and Cara Delevigne have been seen sporting Mykita sunglasses, whilst, Hollywood starlet, Kirsten Dunst favours her Orgreen's. Brittain Opticians are proud to be the only stockist of Mykita and Orgreen in the West Midlands, pop in for a try.
Keep your eyes healthy and look amazing in festival classics like RayBan Wayfarers or Aviators, all the most fashionable A-listers will be seen rocking these year after year, they really are a timeless classic. These ultra fashionable RayBans are available in a variety of colours so set loose the inner hippy in you with a colourful, flowery pair. As an added bonus all these sunnies are available with a polorized lens for maximum UV protection. Celeb wearers include Robert Pattinson, Katy Perry, Beyonce and Paris Hilton.
We also stock Tom Ford, Paul Smith and Maui Jim sunglasses. It's always lovely to see you, so come in and see us when you've got some time and we'll have you looking like the most stylish of celebrity quicker than you can say "get me to the Pyramid stage, Kanye's already started."
See you soon,
