Our resident optometrist combines clinical expertise with a warm, unhurried approach, so there’s always time to ask questions, share concerns, and feel properly looked after. Fully GOC-registered and trusted by Harborne families for many years.
Eye Tests
A thorough 30-minute eye examination covers far more than your prescription. We screen for conditions like glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration, and can often spot early signs of wider health issues such as diabetes. Eye tests from £45, with NHS-funded tests available for those who qualify.
Children’s Eye Care
Good vision is essential for learning, reading and play, and many sight problems in children show no obvious symptoms, which is why regular eye tests matter, even before school. We see lots of children from local Harborne primary schools and surrounding areas, and make appointments fun and relaxed, with a patient approach for nervous little ones and picture charts for those too young to read.
NHS-funded eye tests are free for all children under 16 (and under 19 in full-time education), and we offer a lovely range of children’s frames, including free NHS-funded specs and stylish upgrades for older kids who want something a bit more them.
Contact Lenses
