For those who don’t know us, we’re Brittain Opticians, here in the heart of Harborne High Street. We’re an independent opticians in a sea of very big chains, and we wouldn’t change that for the world. The way we do things, we can get to know our customers — offer a bespoke service.

Anyway, you don’t need telling why independents are vital to the lifeblood of Birmingham, but what you might like to learn about is our forthcoming Sunglasses Open Day, on March 31.

The weather might be keeping us guessing but rest assured the sunshine is coming in fast, and there’s a very good chance you need a new pair of prescription sunnies. You may even need a second pair to add to what you already have. We also have kid’s sunglasses too, so there’s something for the whole family.

On March 31 from 10am to 4.30pm we’ll showcase the largest selection of sunglasses we have ever had and prices start from just £50.  All sorts of designer styles will be available for your perusal and almost all of them can accommodate prescription lenses, so bring your prescription along and we can do the rest.
