As its summer and the time for Hollywood blockbuster movies, I thought I’d tell you all about the latest craze, I’m calling it stars and specs.
Do you think that Hollywood celebs, walking around in the latest fashionable eye wear have all suddenly become short sighted? Not at all – stars now see glasses as a massive fashion statement. Nowadays eyeglasses have been transformed from the most unbearable accessory into a fashion statement. No longer a matter of diopters, anybody wishing to give a modern twist to their look can wear a pair of designer specs. Geek chic is particularly in this year, choose oversized, black and tortoise frames to recreate the right look, think Clarke Kent in Superman.
The first to launch this trend were Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, proud specs wearers in a series of homemade photos uploaded on Twitter. From that point a ‘frames shot’ challenge has started – Christina Hendricks sexy and provocative, Kristen Stewart rock and roll, even, Magic Mike star, Joe Manganiello has been spotted with glasses perched atop his nose.
So whats in vogue at the moment? Big frames, that is XXL frames, it does not matter if they are larger than your face contours, rather the bulkier they are, the better. Black and tortoise patterns are the most suitable colour, Tom Ford and Paul Smith are masters of this style.
You don’t have to be a slave to fashion though, Mission Impossible- Rogue Nation star, Tom Cruise has been a constant over the years, favouring his RayBan Aviators from Top Gun in the 80’s until now. If you know what suits you why conform to latest trends?
So pop in and see us and we’ll help you achieve the perfect look, with a little bit of Hollywood glamour. You can then watch summer movies like Fantastic Four and Terminator Genisys in style with perfect vision. I shall be wearing my oversized, Tom Ford specs to go and see Jurrasic World, so I can watch, the object of my affection, Chris Pratt in perfect clarity.
See you all soon,
