Lindberg Horn is a unique, hand crafted combination of exclusive water buffalo horn and titanium. The frames are created from the unique horns of water buffalo from a variety of regions across Vietnam, Africa, South and Central America. Each breed has its own special characteristics and no two frames are ever the same, meaning Lindberg Horn is as individual as you are.
From an ethical point of view the water buffalo are not under threat, as the meat and hide are used for food and the production of leather goods, while the horns are used for niche products, such as optical frames.
Lindberg never compromise on comfort, the nose bridge, temples and hinges are all made from titanium and can be individually adjusted for a perfect fit. Your Lindberg horn will be ‘one of a kind’ as well as being hypo-allergenic, light, strong and extremely flexible.
The front of the frame features layers of laminated horn, giving this living and porous material greater strength and stability. Only the very best layers of horn are used. Horn material can be likened to nail or hair, which can be strong and durable, yet porous and fragile.
